JUDY BOUCHER TO PERFORM AT CARNIVAL CITY

Good ol fashioned romance, enchantment and chivalry are set to envelop Carnival City when popular vocalist Judy Boucher performs on Friday, 26 June.

Her legion of South African fans can expect a night of love and reminisce when she belts her extensive repertoire of sing-along songs.

Think Can’t be with you Tonight, Crying in the Rain, Trying to get over You, Mr Dream maker, The Sunshine Medley, and Turn Back The Time - a song subsequently redone by R Kelly.

Judy explains why her songs are popular: "My songs are reality, songs that take the average person through the different emotions, no matter who you are. There are those songs that instantly transport us back in time, or take us Out of ourselves".

Judy’s relationship with Southern Africa is old. In 1992 -93 she recorded her top selling album, Tears On My Pillow in South Africa.

The UK’s premier Reggae artists Vivian Jones is also featured on the bill. He is described as a sophisticated singer with a warm and soulful voice, who's been charting big in England for almost two decades.

South African band, Loading Zone complete the line-up.

Doors open at 18:00 and tickets are R120 to R150 at Computicket.
