Joy of Jazz marks
over a decade of putting South Africa on the international
jazz map. The annual fest attracts an audience of 20
000, across 7 venues in Johannesburg's buzzing Newtown
Cultural precinct.
With an international line-up of top artists, and
an exciting mix of home-grown talent,Joy of Jazz has
contributed to the cultural exchange between artists
and many international performers have met their local
counterparts and subsequently collaborated on various
projects.
Importantly, Joy of Jazz has also seen a phenomenal
growth in the number of developing jazz artists who
have been given exposure and a platform on which to
perform.
The staging of the Joy of Jazz in the Newtown Precinct
has played an integral part in the regeneration of the
inner city, having had significant benefits in helping
to shape the future of Johannesburg, and contributing
to the city's changing creative and cultural landscape.

One of South
Africa’s quintessential outdoor festivals –
The Jazz in The Park - is set to return to outdoor festival
haven, Moretele Park.
It is one of T-Musicman’s top-class events.
While the date and details of the entertainment offering
are still under wraps, it will live up to the standards
previously set and go to newer heights befitting the
second decade of the new millennium
Moretele Park is synonymous with big music, happiness,
sunshine, picnics and good times. It attracts fun lovers
from all across Gauteng and South and Southern Africa.
